Link As..." option from your browser, and save to your selected location.
Create a new directory
(folder) on the destination Silicon Graphics machine, then move the "tardist"

Irix
6.5: The newest version of Irix is available
at no cost to SGI customers with current support contracts via the
TAC line at 1-800-800-4744(4SGI). On systems without support, the
O.S. upgrade can be purchased from SGI telesales in the U.S. at 1-800-800-7441
at a price of $600.00 U.S. for the Advanced Workstation
Environment version. Other countries can purchase Irix 6.5 from
the telesales office indicated in the SGI
global sites list.
Wacom
driver: For those wishing to use a stylus
and tablet, Artstream provides full support for the features on
Wacom ArtPad II, ArtZ and Intuos tablets. Current SGI drivers for
these products can be obtained from the Wacom Web site: http://www.wacom.com/productsupport/driver.html.
Those
not running an Irix 6.5.x version will need to be concerned with the following
prerequsites, or will need to install Irix 6.5.x.
Current
patch set: Numerous patches have been
released for the 6.3 and 6.4 versions of Irix. In most cases
only small parts of the entire patch set are required for Artstream,
however it is easiest to avoid confusion by simply installing the
entire patch set if possible. Since these patch sets are 200+ MB,
they should be obtained on CD, and are available even without support
contracts from the SGI TAC line at 1-800-800-4744(4SGI) in the USA,
or the Technical Assistance Center of each country indicated in
the SGI global sites list.
If, for some reason, it is difficult to obtain these patches, contact
support@mediascape.com
for information on smaller incremental changes that may be needed
for your specific system.
N32
libraries: Conflicts will be indicated
bySoftwareManager if the n32 version of required
libraries have not been installed. A full inventory of installed
software can be viewed with the Manage Installed Software
option of the SoftwareManager. If installation of
any n32 version of a library is necessary, be sure that the sw32
version of the product is selected.
